The first thing people say to me when they ask me what i do and i say i am an urban missionary is “what is an urban missionary”?

There are communities and people in our cities who need a true friend and the Love of God. Urban missionaries go to the places no one else wants to go; the prisons, homeless shelters, inner city schools and underserved environments to bring the Good News that they are not defined by their past and they have a future through Christ.

My wife and family have lived and served in the inner city of Atlanta for the last 5 years not only raising our own kids but young teenage youth from the community as well.

We serve the people in these communities everyday and have dedicated our lives to the mission of impacting lives in marginalized neighborhoods.

I have traveled that nation leading social justice conversations and providing creative outlets and solutions to marginalized communities and the one thing I've seen time and time again is the impact a simple smile and conversation can have on a person.
